Fall is time for apple picking. Here is a favorite recipe of mine for some Apple Bread which you might like to try:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cups peeled, grated apple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
