Garden Caregivers
February 24, 2008 by Melinda
They are a bit weatherworn, to be sure, but my garden gnomes are a bright reminder of Spring. I was greeted this morning with their smiles and sunny outlooks in the warm morning sunshine. Underneath the blanket of fallen leaves and snow, my daffodils have begun to sprout already in the warmth of this corner of my garden. It receives much warmth from the sun and the daffodils that bloom there are always the first bright yellows of Spring.
Fabric will be laced to my needlework frame today and the embroidery flosses will be arranged in my stitching basket ready for work to begin tomorrow on a new cross stitch design. It is a delightful garden design with bluets, a tiny look into another’s world and another point of view of the happiness and joy that a garden can bring.
