Friday Finish

My stitching buddy can have the couch all to himself for a few days. I finished stitching the latest cross stitch design on Friday. It is a summer design full of sunny yellows and sky blues. I keep a box of frame corner samples and chose a frame in a color and style that will work well with the colors in the design. The frame was ordered and should arrive next week, upon which I will lace the fabric to a piece of foam core backing and place it in the frame for finishing. Then it will be shipped off for photography right on schedule. A day off today and tomorrow from stitching and then I’m back to work on the next piece rather quickly. Duncan will have to move over again next week.
