The Dimensions Company has a resource area for needlework tips on their website to include punchneedle embroidery. I have not seen tips in other forums specifically for punchneedle and found this to be a nice resource to pass along to those who enjoy this needlework technique. Also included on this site are tips for creating tassels, stitches, cording and answers to many FAQs.
I have not designed for punchneedle recently, but I do have a small selection of designs on my website Medeiros Needlecraft Design. It is a fun technique to try. I find that projects work up simply and quickly with beautiful results.
I recently purchased a new reference book for myself- “Embroidery Stitches: Over 400 Contemporary and Traditional Stitch Patterns” by Mary Webb. It was recommended to me and I think this will be a nice addition to my bookshelf . I find that I constantly refer to another book “Mary Thomas’s Dictionary of Embroidery Stitches” new edition by Jan Eaton. Reference materials, either on the web or a book, are a good addition to have.
