The Dimensions Company has a resource area for needlework tips on their website to include punchneedle embroidery. I have not seen tips in other forums specifically for punchneedle and found this to be a nice resource to pass along to those who enjoy this needlework technique. Also included on this site are tips for creating tassels, stitches, cording [...]

Anyone with a pet dog or cat can probably relate to this. My dog thinks he owns my couch.  At times we have small turf battles over who owns which side. The couch is situated such in my studio that it receives a good bit of sunlight during the day - a necessity while stitching [...]

As I make my daily needlework travels around the internet to sites I enjoy and to those occasional new discoveries, I am constantly amazed and delighted by the creativity and goodness of people in the needlework community. Friday Five

Friday again. I have put in a full week of stitching The Sampler and I am getting restless from sitting too much. Not done yet and I have a way to go.  It has been cold with dreary winter gray skies and Spring seems so far off.  Here are five things that have brightened the days this week [...]

I keep two small feeders on either side of the house in this alcove to attract smaller birds and keep the squirrels away. Birds have become accustomed to this setup [...]

Distance

Alot of  tasks have been accomplished this week that don’t make for interesting reading. Being a freelance artist, there is a need to wear many hats: marketing and promotional work, book keeping, correspondence, etc. which incorporate a necessary bit of time. All are very important, but nonetheless, they do not make for an interesting read.
I have been impatient [...]
