All About Jane

My philosophy towards stitching and reading are the same. If I am able to do a bit every day, that is that much that has been accomplished and enjoyed. Every little bit adds up to the whole either stitch by stitch or word by word. I love to lose myself in a good book and love nothing more than to curl up and read it all at once. That doesn’t happen very often to say the least!
I just finished “Northanger Abbey” by Jane Austen, one of her stories I had never read before. Much to my great delight, in the current Oprah magazine, was a short article on “The Jane Event”. Masterpiece Theatre on PBS will air “The Complete Jane Austen” beginning in January. Heaven! I will have to put my dibbs on the TV now with my family (you will hear a loud groan very shortly from them…) What better way to have it both ways than to stitch while watching and listening to Jane’s wonderful stories.
