That's a good bargain! I picked my copy up about eight years ago. So far I have worked four pairs of mittens from this book: Old Goose-Eye, Snowstar, Four-leaf clover and Rose wreath. Lingonberry looks pretty straight forward. Snowstar was a challenge for me! The best thing I love about this book is the fact that you can mix and match cuff patterns and main body patterns as long as you keep the stitch count in mind. Thanks for the post!

Hi Melinda,

When I saw that you had commented on my blog, I remembered that I wanted to look up "The Mitten Book" which you mentioned. Sure enough I have that very book...have no idea when or where I got it but it has a $2.00 price tag on it!
I think I am being inspired to try a pair of mittens... I am attracted to the Lingonberry pattern. If it is the hardest one in the book...please don't tell me!
