Sailors Valentines

In many needlework samplers we see sentiments such as “when this you see, remember me” or “when far away think of me”. Many historical sailors valentines also expressed these same sentiments only with tiny seashells.
One of my very favorite things to do is to collect sea glass and seashells. I have been captivated by one woman’s work in her collecting passion which turned into a uniquely wonderful business.
