All Hearts Come Home for Christmas Collectors Stocking

I am very happy to announce news of my very first design to appear in a magazine format. It appears in the September 2007 issue of Cross Stitch & Needlework Magazine http://www.c-sn.com/products/sku-AllHeartsStocking__id-86.html and is called “All Hearts Come Home for Christmas”.
The idea for this design comes from all those who are serving overseas and away from their families. We see images on the media of special homecomings and the joy of family members seeing one another again. This stocking has a joyous scene of a Father coming home and being greeted by his family. We see the home from the outside looking inward as only those who have experienced these homecomings can fully appreciate the joy and the heartache.
I hope you will take a peek at it. I stitched this stocking myself at the end of January/beginning of February. It is a design that I am especially fond of.
