The Stitching Thread

My studio is organized chaos. I have been a collector of little bits of ribbon, buttons, beads, scraps, you name it, for as long as I can remember. At one point, I was determined to organize it all. So I accrued a variety of baskets and boxes and cute little trays to sort and distribute the items that I could not part with in the event that “I’ll use that someday”. I filled up wallspace with shelves to stack it all on. I have a large drafting table that I work on occasionally if I move things to one side or the other. Paper and loose items seem to accumulate in my room from my resident house elves who occupy my room with me when I work. I have two young crafters in training. It doesn’t help that I have to hide my scotch tape or my young crafters will use it all and not tell me when it is gone. I just tell my family not to move anything because I at least know where most things are. Just not the thing that I’m looking for at this moment! I know it was here somewhere….!
